I have worked within the IT industry for over 15 years, specialising in large IT infrastructure systems and VoIP deployments.
As an early adopter of Unified Communications, I focused on integrating pre-existing communications systems using Microsoft Office Communications Server, Microsoft Exchange, BlackBerry Mobile Voice Solution, and Nortel CS1000.
For the last 4 years, I’ve been working for a UK/Irish based financial services organisation, concentrating on delivering a robust, yet innovative IT service, working with key technology partners including Microsoft, BT & RIM on early technology adoption programs and technical case studies.
In April 2009 I started ”I’m a UC Blog“, a year later I was awarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Communications Server, I am a contributor to Microsoft’s “Next Hop“, a Unified Communications Portal run by the Communications Server product team and have participated in a number of speaking engagements including Microsoft’s “GetVirtualNow” and “Save Time. Work Smarter. Reduce Costs”.
